Good morning,

In late October 1997, I sat in the foyer of a swanky hotel in Hong Kong right in the middle of the Asian Crisis and listened to a trader explaining how his book was unravelling. Interestingly or ironically, I was there to attend the Annual IMF jamboree. Only the IMF could have planned their shindig to coincide with one of the biggest financial crisis in the past fifty years.

Let us explain now why the current sell off in Asia does not look like the Asian Financial Crisis MK2, but never say never!
