Good morning,

As volatility in financial markets continues unabated, particularly in Asia, last night the minutes of the July meeting of the United States Federal Reserve were made available.

Whilst most Fed officials judged that the conditions for hiking rates had not yet been achieved at the July meeting, they noted that such conditions were approaching. So we are close to lift off, although we must wait for the stars to align.
